Method 01:- Using Using kaspersky Virus Removal Tool to remove the shortcut virus
Just scan your computer and USB with latest version of kaspersky virus removal tool, it will detect and remove traces of any virus from your computer and USB drive.
Step 02:- Go to your USB drive (if your USB drive is F drive, Type F: and hit the enter key)
Step 03:- After that run the following command: del *.lnk
Step 04:- Then run the following command: attrib -h -r -s /s /d F:\*.*
Method 02:- Remove Shortcut Virus from USB Drive Using Command Prompt.
Step 01:- Open command prompt (Run –> cmd).Step 03:- After that run the following command: del *.lnk
Step 04:- Then run the following command: attrib -h -r -s /s /d F:\*.*
Note : Don't forget to replace the letter 'F' with your USB drive letter.
That's all. Open and check your USB drive. Your folders and files will have restored by now and you can easily access them.
